  • Hypochlorous acid is a substanceproduced by neutrophils in the white blood cells as part of the human immune system.

    Hypochlorous acid is produced in the human body by neutrophils, which account for more than 50% of white blood cells, as part of the immune system to protect against bacteria and viruses.
    However, the active ingredient in hypochlorous acid breaks down quickly and loses effectiveness on contact with organic matter.
